Home Health Aide Program
This program is designed to prepare the student to enter the work force as a home attendant or Home Health Aide. The program content provides instruction in services that assist in maintaining maximum independence and safety in the home environment.
Practical Nursing Program
Students gain experience in medical-surgical nursing, obstetric nursing, pediatric nursing, geriatric nursing, acute care settings, long-term care settings, and community settings. The program provides 600 hours of training to students in all of the relevant areas of education and practice required for a Patient Care Technician professional.
Medical Billing & Coding
Students who are trained in utilizing electronic healthcare records have the opportunity to improve the quality and convenience of patient care, increase patient participation in their own care, improve the accuracy of coding, diagnoses, and insurance processing, and increase the efficiency and cost savings of the medical practice.
Medical Assistant Program
Medical Assistant program provides 1300 hours of training to students in all the relevant areas of education and practice required for a Medical Assisting professional. The curriculum includes education in health science fundamentals; medical terminology; legal and ethical responsibilities; medical office management and procedures; administrative and clinical duties; safety and security procedures; emergency preparedness; records management; informatics; fundamentals of medical insurance billing; preparing patients for physical examinations; HIV/AIDS; blood borne pathogens; OSHA; phlebotomy; EKG.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
The AHA's ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). The AHA offers options for how you can purchase ACLS Course. You can take a full classroom course, take a blended learning course (HeartCode ACLS + a hands-on skills session training), or purchase additional course materials.
Basic Life Support
The AHA's BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. This course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support
The PALS Provider Course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high‐performance team dynamics and high‐quality individual skills. The course includes a series of case scenario practices with simulations that reinforce important concepts.
